- Video Content: Baseball and softball swing videos uploaded for AI-powered feedback.
- Technical Data: Device identifiers (e.g., Firebase Instance ID), IP address, and app version.
- Usage Data: Interaction data such as app launches, screen views, and button clicks.
- Crash Data: Logs and diagnostics for app performance and issue resolution.
2. How We Use Your Information
- App Functionality: To authenticate users, provide AI-powered feedback, and improve app stability.
- AI/ML Video Processing: Swing videos you upload are processed by our own artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, hosted on Athletech's cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform), to generate coaching feedback and track your progress. We do not share your videos with any third-party AI service.
- Analytics: To analyze usage patterns, improve features, and measure app performance.
- Support and Communication: To address user inquiries and share important updates.
- Marketing and Engagement: With your consent, we may send promotional messages or updates about new features, offers, or related products. You can opt out at any time.
- Promotional Use of Content: We may use uploaded content in promotional materials (such as pitch decks, app previews, social media, and app store screenshots) only where the content does not identify you, meaning it does not show your face, name, jersey number, or other identifying details, or where such content is incidental and not the focus of the material. We will not use content that identifies you in promotional settings without your explicit, separate consent. You may withdraw any consent, or request removal of content, at any time by contacting support@athletech.co.
3. Sharing Your Information
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (e.g., Firebase) for authentication, analytics, and crash reporting.
- AI Processing: Your uploaded videos are analyzed only by Athletech's own AI/ML systems on our cloud infrastructure. We do not send, sell, or share your videos or personal data with any third-party artificial intelligence service (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini).
- Legal Compliance: Your data may be shared to comply with applicable laws or protect rights and safety.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account information and uploaded content (including swing videos) for as long as your account remains active so we can provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and your uploaded videos in connection with that deletion, except where we must retain limited information to comply with law.

5. Children's Privacy
Athletech does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents or guardians may create accounts or upload videos for their child's use.
